of Ft Wayne Indiana for setting a new world record with gasoline radio control boats.

Karen, the previous holder of the IMPBA (International Model Power Boat Association) world record in mono-hull gas boats bested her earlier record by over 4 mph! At sanctioned IMPBA record trials held 15/ 16 May 2004 in Flint Michigan USA, the record was not only broken, but in record terms it was shattered! Bob was asked after if the new "SPL Avenger" lubricant supplied by Cooper Fuels had a difference over the one they used to use: "I never would have believed an oil could have made the difference it did" Was an oil change to the SPL Avenger the sole reason Karen was able to beat her previous record?, no, it also took incredible skill on her part.
